FXB-VAC1 Three-Phase Protector Instruction Manual

1. Precautions

  • The device must be installed by qualified professionals.
  • Before operating the device, disconnect all power supplies; do not touch any terminals when the device is energized.
  • After installation, confirm that the terminal connections are correct.
  • Disassembly or maintenance of the device is prohibited regardless of whether it is operating normally; the manufacturer and seller shall not be liable for any consequences arising from non-compliance.
  • Do not use the device in locations that may be exposed to gas corrosion, direct strong sunlight, or rain.
  • Clean the device with a cloth.
  • Failure to comply with the above instructions may result in serious personal injury or major accidents.

2. Product Features

  • Equipped with protection functions for excessive/low set power supply voltage, three-phase unbalance, and phase sequence error.

4. Product Status Statement

  • During relay reset/start-up delay counting: If a voltage fault is detected, the output relay will be energized, and the fault indicator LED will light up accordingly.
  • During normal operation of the relay: Real-time operating voltage and current values will be displayed on the screen; if a voltage or current fault is detected, the output relay will be energized, and the fault indicator LED will light up accordingly.
  • During voltage fault recovery: If the input voltage returns to the threshold (Hys) after a fault, the relay will reset automatically during the counting period, the fault indicator LED will turn off, and the operating voltage and current values on the screen will flash.
  • Current trip fault: When the relay fails due to a current trip, it will reset automatically; during the reset/start-up delay period, the fault indicator LED will turn off, and the operating voltage and current values will flash on the screen.
  • Phase sequence fault: When an inter-phase fault occurs, the screen displays 'L1-L3-L2', and the protector will disconnect from the output power supply.
  • Continuous overcurrent fault: After the continuous overcurrent fault indicator is triggered, the overload device must be disconnected first, and the relay can be restarted only after manual reset.

5. Wiring Instructions

  • Wiring diagrams in this manual are for reference only; actual wiring shall be based on the markings on the actual device.
  • Real-time voltage operating values are displayed on the screens corresponding to L1, L2, and L3; current values are displayed on the screen corresponding to L2 when the delay timing starts.
  • After the delay timing ends, the output relay closes and then opens according to normal logic
